MapQuest Mobile Top Pick

MapQuest offers several map services for people on the go. The main service, MapQuest Mobile works with most carriers on most phones. Click here for a complete list. Unfortunately, the service does cost $3.99 per month but its worth it if you do a lot of traveling.

Other cool MapQuest services include MapQuest Find Me which provides GPS enabled maps and directions for Nextel handsets and MapQuest Traffic which provides color coded traffic reports for selected Verizon wireless phones.

 

Google Local for Mobile

Google just launched local for mobile which works for some Cingular and Sprint J2ME enabled phones. Unfortunately, it doesn't support Verizon, Nextel, T-Mobile Alltel or U.S. Cellular phones, or Blackberry and Palm devices. Keep tryng Google!

 

Mobile GMaps

Mobile GMaps is a FREE application that displays Google Maps, Yahoo! Maps and MSN Virtual Earth maps and satellite imagery on Java J2ME-enabled mobile phones, PDAs and other devices.
